What the ESPR delegated act will require

Electronics and ICT products are a priority category under ESPR (Regulation 2024/1781). The delegated act is expected to cover energy efficiency data already required under EU Energy Labelling, extended with repairability scores, spare parts availability, software update guarantees, and recycled content declarations.

Traceable's electronics template is being developed in alignment with draft delegated act consultations and will be finalised when the delegated act text is adopted. Start collecting data now to be ready when the regulation takes effect.

Product Identity

Manufacturer, model, GTIN, product type, energy efficiency class, EU Declaration of Conformity references.

Energy Efficiency

Energy consumption data, standby power, EU Energy Label class, power management features.

Repairability

Repairability score, spare parts availability period, repair manual access, disassembly instructions.

Recycled Content

Percentage of recycled plastics, recycled metals, critical raw material content declarations.

Hazardous Substances

RoHS compliance, REACH SVHC declarations, WEEE category classification, battery content if applicable.

Software & Updates

Software update guarantee period, security update policy, firmware version tracking.
