What the regulation requires for tyres
Passenger tyres are among the first ESPR product categories targeted for Digital Product Passport requirements. The delegated act builds on existing EU Tyre Labelling Regulation 2020/740 data requirements and extends them with environmental footprint, circularity, and supply chain traceability fields.
Tyre manufacturers and importers already collect much of this data for EU labelling compliance. Traceable maps existing data to DPP requirements — minimising duplication of effort.
